ABOUT THE SHOW
Several years ago, photographer Bill Pratt and musician Ian Douglas partnered to create a unique and moving performance focused on nature. Bill's images of the Canadian wilderness were carefully selected and sequenced into three works: Arctic Dreams, Algonquin Wild, and Yukon. Ian then composed original music to capture the mood and flow of the projected images. Collectively, the three pieces celebrate the rugged landscape and delicate beauty of Canada's wilderness. The artists will also share a few personal stories and experiences behind the images and music.
Raintree Earth Ensemble
The ensemble features acoustic instruments blended with voice, hand-drums and unique percussion to create music with atmospheric and earthy elements. The musicians include:
